New Whanau

Once your child is enrolled we will arrange for you and your child to attend two pre-school visits to the new entrant class.  Each term we also hold parent information evenings for parents of children starting the following term. These meetings will help to familiarise you with school routines and are a great opportunity to meet other new parents.

Please click here for a copy of our Welcome to Stanley Bay Booklet.

Please email Rachael Hamilton, our Enrolment Officer at rhamilton@stanleybay.school.nz who will be able to help you through the process.

Cohort Entry

To determine when your child starts school we use cohort entry. This means that children who have their fifth birthday between the start and mid-term date begin school at the start of term. Children who have a fifth birthday after the mid-term date are able to begin school at the start of the following term.
