School Motto
Our school motto is "Those who do their best do well" and we expect each child to do their best in what ever is undertaken. Our goal is to provide a school environment where pupils are safe, secure, happy, co-operative and where our key focus is on learning.
Graduate profile
When our akonga leave Stanley Bay School they will be capable, curious, connected, creative and culturally confident learners who are connected to the community and wider world.
Community
The school encourages and values parent and community involvement in the school. It is the close co-operation between parents and teachers that ensures quality educational experiences for our students.
At Stanley Bay School we recruit and retain long-serving, highly effective staff who are committed to providing the very best outcomes for children. We are very proud of the calibre of our staff and the passion they show for teaching and learning.
Our Mission Statement
Stanley Bay School will provide a safe and supportive environment that promotes achievement and prepares children with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to succeed now and in the future.
We believe it is important to foster a child's natural curiosity.
“You don’t need to teach a child curiosity. Curiosity is innate. You just have to be careful not to squash it. This is the challenge for the teacher, to foster and guide that curiosity.” Sir Paul Callaghan
