Our Board

Board members are elected parents whose role is to govern the school. They are a legal body and represent the parent community. Elections are held every three years.

Board meetings are held on twice a term. Meetings are open to the public and parents are welcome to attend but may not contribute to the meeting unless invited.

Any recommendations or questions from parents need to be put in writing and sent to the secretary of the board at least five days before a meeting.

Our Board

The Stanley Bay School Board consists of four community/parent representatives elected every three years, the Principal, and a staff member.
The primary role of the Board is to define the school’s strategic direction in collaboration with parents, staff, and students. Together, we establish clear, measurable goals for academic excellence.
We also create and implement policies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school while closely monitoring their impact to guarantee that every student receives the high-quality education they deserve.
As your representatives, we are dedicated to being the community’s voice in all school matters. Your insights and feedback are invaluable, and we encourage you to share your thoughts on significant issues.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you.

Jonathan (Monty) Duncan
Presiding Member
