FOSB 2023

December 4, 2023

Thank you all for a tremendous and record breaking effort over this year. Our Friends of Stanley Bay events brought in over $81k in total revenue with ~$49k of that going straight to the school and a lot of community spirit, laughs and memorable moments forged in the process.

There will be a new fundraising thermometer on the school for 2024 and the budget is set at the same level as 2023. The parent surveys have been helpful in prioritising what the 2024 funds raised go towards. These include a new Piano, an Epro8 kit, a sand pit cover, basketball and netball hoops, maths equipment, a ride on mower, learning resources, additional teacher aides and teacher secure cupboards.

We can’t run any events without your support, as such, we’re after a three more leads in order to confirm next year’s events. We need two for each event otherwise we can’t stage them. If you are keen to help lead one of the following 2024 events with our existing rock star lead talent below, please get in touch with the Principal or Holly (hollyknill@yahoo.co.nz) before Term 1.

It takes a lot of Mums and Dads to make schools work, this could be you!

What we need for 2024..

FOSB Communications lead to help with FOSB newsletter notices (such as this), notices for parent reps, social posts on facebook and help with promoting our events!

We will of course, seek your help as volunteers for each event closer to the time. It really does take a village!

Have a great Summer. Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete me te Tau Hau.
