Friends Of Stanley Bay Meeting

March 27, 2024

Come and join us!

The Friends of Stanley Bay team (FOSB) is a group of volunteer parents with children across all year groups at Stanley Bay School who have three goals:·

Build school and community spirit·

Raise funds to support our amazing school·

Promote our school and increase our profile within the wider community

We function as a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees with parents meeting almost monthly, supported by a wider group of parents who help out on events.

The funds raised are important for our students, their education and wellbeing, with the school relying on these for improvements as agreed by the board. In 2023 alone, with the support of our parents and volunteers running the Mud Run and disco’s, we raised over $81k with just under $50kin net profit to support the school!

We want to smash our net profit target this year of $40k so we can snag an electric piano, a new sandpit cover, a pool cleaner, basketball and netball hoops, a ride-on mower, learning resources, and heat inverters for the hotter classrooms. The list is endless, and we need your help to achieve this!

How it works

All our events need a couple of parent volunteers to lead them. Alongside those leads we need volunteers to help make it happen. We can’t rely on the same people year after year, with their kids now in senior school. We’d love for you to come along and get involved, all welcome!
