Rooms 9 and 10 went on a local trip with Restoring Takarunga Trust’s Lance around Takarunga and to the Devonport Museum.

We were able to learn about our Tūrangawaewae with our research questions around local histories like: Patuone, The Vic, Takarunga, Torpedo Bay, the library and more. We had a lovely time singing waiata and learning about the history of Devonport.

We will now be working on dioramas and pamphlets to present our findings. The museum will choose their favourite pamphlet to be copied and given out at the museum.
