I started my teaching career in Oxfordshire, England where I taught at an Infants school and developed my passion for playful, hands-on learning. In 2010 I moved to New Zealand to experience teaching in a different country and started teaching new entrants here at Stanley Bay School. I loved the school, the community and all that this amazing country has to offer, so I decided to stay. After starting a family, I took a few years to enjoy time with my young children. I am excited to be back at Stanley Bay this year working in a year 0/1 class. I have a love for adventure sports, having worked as a sports development officer and gaining my pilots licence by the age of 21. These days I enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle, spending time with my family and pursuing more creative hobbies.
