The Friends of Stanley Bay School (FOSB) is a group of parents who volunteer their time to organise events that build school and community spirit as well as raising vital funds for our great school.  The school relies on these funds for a number of areas of school improvement as agreed by the Board of Trustees - including increased teaching resource, teacher aides, professional development for the teachers and classroom equipment.

We function as a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees with several parents who meet monthly, supported by a wider group of parents who help out as and when they can or lead one-off events.

Our Objectives
This year our fundraising target is $50,000 to support the school budget and enhance the education and well being of our students.  We aim to plan and deliver social activities and events for the purpose of:

  • fundraising
  • building strong relationships and a positive sense of belonging within our school community
  • promoting and increasing our school’s profile in the wider community.

We need your help
Everyone is welcome to help and/or join in, be it as an ad-hoc volunteer or committee member.  If you are interested or want to know more, we would love to chat to you.  Please contact Kelly Seaburg ( or 021 501 651).
