My name is Kelly Slater-Brown and I am the Assistant Principal.

I have returned to New Zealand after nine years in the UK. During that time I have taught across a range of ages in an inner London Primary School, travelled the world extensively in my holidays and returned home with a husband and two delightful boys, who I hope will join us at Stanley Bay in the future. In my spare time I am kept busy entertaining our boisterous children who like to cook, paint the house and generally cause mayhem. I also have stimulating educational discussions with my husband, Steve, who is currently training to be a teacher.

Prior to leaving New Zealand I taught in two Intermediate schools, so I have a good idea of the future expectations of children.

It is magic to be back in a school with beautifully behaved children, large green spaces to play in, and such an enthusiastic staff.
