Hi!

I am a born and bred shore boy, growing up in the Birkenhead area. This is my third year at Stanley Bay School, and I am really stoked to be part of such an enthusiastic and supportive community.  I have been having heaps of fun teaching the year 4/5 children in the school and now are trying teaching at the year 3/4 level.

Before coming to Stanley bay, I spent a number of years at university pursuing interests in philosophy and music. During this time I worked at the Birkdale North Music Centre where I taught brass and took the orchestra. I also taught various instruments at Sherwood Primary as well as teaching for the 4Front School of Guitar.  It was through these opportunities that I really developed a passion for teaching children.  So I decided to become a primary school teacher and have been loving it ever since!

A lot of my free time is spent  playing music.  I play guitar and keyboards in a number of bands, as well as playing support for various singer/songwriter acts in Auckland.
