I was born in Birkenhead, on Merseyside in the UK, but spent most of my childhood in Braintree, Essex.  I have taught in Hertfordshire and Surrey in the UK and had 2 year spell teaching in North Carolina in the USA, where I won the Cultural Educator of The Year for Western North Carolina.  I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in different education systems, but am happy to have now settled in New Zealand at Stanley Bay.

 I became the Senior Teacher of the Senior Syndicate in 2006 and really enjoying being at Stanley Bay School working alongside such dedicated teachers and enthusiastic children.
