The design of the Centennial Walkway Mural is almost complete. Now the fun starts!  The Centennial Mural has been designed to include an “Historical Stanley Bay School Memorabilia” section.  This is part of our theme for the Centennial celebrations: “Knowing Our Past Shapes Our Future”.  So we’re asking all previous Stanley Bay School people to dust off and bring along to the Open Day on Saturday 24th October any historical school memorabilia you would like included in this section.  Depending on the type of memorabilia provided, we’ll copy, photograph or take an impression of the item on that day and add this to the Mural when it is constructed.  We would also welcome any donations of memorabilia which we could add directly to the Mural.  We’re interested in all types of historical memorabilia such as school badges and cups, school books, teaching materials, anniversary mugs and teaspoons etc – in fact, anything related to the school you might have.  We believe including such treasures will  enhance the lasting impact of the Centennial Mural, really bringing it to life and helping to make it a wonderful addition to Stanley Bay School.
