School Charter and Annual Plan

Each year the school updates its charter to show the annual goals/targets relating to student learning that are being set for the current year. These annual goals/targets come from analysing the assessment data from the previous year.

The charter shows the strategic goals set to improve student learning and the annual plan shows how these goals will be achieved.

Variance Reports

The school's variance reports show the progress we have made towards the goals set, historical data to compare the current year’s data against, the effectiveness of programmes and suggestions as to how we can improve student learning for the following year. When reading these reports please realise that not all school’s have spent a considerable amount of time moderating across schools to ensure the validity of their data. For this reason our data, at present, cannot be directly compared with another school’s. The Ministry of Education has acknowledged that schools have interpreted the National Standards in different ways.
