Kia Ora. I've had the pleasure to be involved with Stanley Bay for a number of years, first as a parent and now as a syndicate leader and teacher of the most wonderful year one class! I love living in Devonport, and my husband Rob and I have been here for about sixteen years. I'm still a Canterbury supporter at heart though! I love the beaches here, the beautiful walks and the close proximity to the city while my two boys enjoy the freedom of living in such a friendly and safe place.
It's been a joy to be back in the classroom after a number of years relieving and teaching Reading Recovery. It's hard to say what subjects I like teaching the most but helping children to learn to read, to discover and explore the world of written language, is hard to beat.
As well as spending a lot of time watching soccer and rowing regattas, I love walking, skiing, reading and sharing food and fine wine with friends.
