Hi, I am Pam Warner and I have the best job at Stanley Bay School as I take the new entrants in room three. This is such a wonderful year to have as the children change so much during their time with me. It is exciting watching them grow physically and academically. There are so many successes that children attain in this first year of school, all of which require many learning steps and I am proud to be able to be a part of that.
Parents are a very important part of their child’s learning and I acknowledge all the work that you have done before your child arrives in room three. I thank you for the support that you give in listening to your child read, your enthusiastic support when they show you their work or bring something home that they have made.
If you are able to come in to the classroom to help in any way this is appreciated not only by me but also by your child.
I have taught from early childhood to year eight but the younger children have always fascinated me. My daughter is also a teacher and this year is taking a new entrant class at Albany Primary. Last year she and her husband presented us with a grandson and as you can imagine he takes up a lot of out of school hours.
I welcome you all to room three.
